In 2020 The Netherlands celebrate that it is 75 years after the liberation. Expecially for this year I offer both in Amsterdam and Rotterdam a tour with the focus on 1940 – 1945.
In a historical context I will tell stories about these cities. In Rotterdam the story of the battle around the bridges over the Muese, the bombardment of May 14, 1940, the destruction of the city-centre. Every day life under nazi-occupation, hiding, resistance and Jewish resistance.
In Amsterdam I will tell stories about hiding, every day life, Jewish and non-Jewish resistance.
